Welcome
Welcome to the New England Energy Alliance, a coalition of energy providers, business and trade organizations and others concerned about future energy supplies. The Alliance advocates for action to ensure the availability, reliability and affordability of future energy supplies, which are vital to sustain the region's economic growth and prosperity. Formed in August 2005, the Alliance works to balance public debate about, and help identify solutions to, the growing risks to the region's energy supply infrastructure. Through this website and other outreach activities we provide analyses and information about the region's energy needs and the resources, technologies and policies needed to meet those needs.

Our Mission

The mission of the Alliance is to:

  • Help ensure that public decision-making and policy development regarding electricity and energy supplies are made with full and balanced consideration of the region's energy and economic needs; and
  • Advocate timely development of, and decisions about, needed, environmentally sound energy supply and related infrastructure projects and technologies - as well as supporting public policies - across all fuel sources and market segments.
